Terms of service

1. The service

Sbobina Subito transcribes audio files into text with automated systems, flags uncertain points with the matching minute, lets you correct the text and download it as a Word file and, on request, creates review flashcards.

Automatic transcription may contain errors, especially with low-quality audio, noise, overlapping voices, proper names and technical terms. We do not guarantee a perfect transcript: this is why we flag uncertain points. Check the text before using it, especially for exams, publications or professional purposes.

The first free transcript and free access use a simpler, less accurate transcription system, as indicated on the page.

2. Account

To use the service you need an account, which you access with a link sent to your email address. You are responsible for access to your mailbox. The service is reserved for people aged 14 or over.

3. Content you upload

It remains yours. You only grant us permission to process it to provide the service.

You declare that you have the right to record and have transcribed the audio you upload, including, where needed, the consent of the people recorded (for example lecturers, speakers or interviewees) and compliance with the rules of your university or the place of recording.

You may not upload unlawful content, content infringing third-party rights, or other people's data without a lawful basis.

4. Prices and payments

Prices are shown on the Pricing page and at the time of purchase, in euros. Payments are handled by Stripe; card details never pass through our servers.

A transcript starts only after payment is confirmed. If the audio is rejected by our checks (invalid format, length over the limit) you are not charged.

• Single transcript: for audio up to 60 minutes; flashcards can be added separately.
• Packs: a number of transcripts to use within 12 months of purchase; transcripts not used by the expiry date are not refundable.
• Subscriptions: they renew automatically every month or year until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your profile: the subscription stays active until the end of the period already paid. Unused hours do not carry over.

Unlimited subscription: subject to fair use up to 40 hours of audio per month, also shown next to the price. Beyond this threshold we may ask you to switch plan or temporarily limit new uploads.

5. Right of withdrawal

The service is digital content and a digital service supplied immediately. Before each purchase we ask you to expressly request immediate performance and to acknowledge that, once processing has started, you lose your right of withdrawal (Art. 59(1)(a) and (o) of the Italian Consumer Code, implementing Directive 2011/83/EU).

For subscriptions, withdrawal within 14 days of purchase remains possible as long as you have not used the service included in the subscription; after the first use the above applies. Your statutory warranty rights are not affected.

If a paid transcript is not completed because of a technical problem on our side, we refund you or give you the transcript back. Write to info@subitosbobina.online.

6. Retention and deletion

Audio and texts are deleted automatically as described in the privacy policy (audio at the Word download, text 24 hours later, 30 days at most). Download the Word file before then: after deletion the text cannot be recovered.

7. Fair use

• Do not use the service for unlawful activities or to transcribe recordings made without the right to do so.
• Do not try to bypass limits, payments or checks (for example by creating multiple accounts to get more free trials).
• Do not overload the service or try to access other users' data.

In case of breach we may suspend or close the account, with no refund for use already made.

Copy protection in the editor and the watermark are a deterrent, not absolute protection.

8. Liability

We provide the service with care but without a guarantee of continuous availability or error-free transcription. To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for damage arising from the use of unchecked text. Nothing in these terms limits the rights the law grants to consumers.

9. Changes, governing law and contact

We may update these terms; important changes will be communicated before they apply to ongoing subscriptions.

Italian law applies. If you are a consumer, the court of the place where you live has jurisdiction, and the protective rules of the EU country where you live remain applicable.
